Dit zijn de Golden Globes-nominaties voor 2018

Het awardseizoen is officieel gestart. Maandagochtend heeft The Hollywood Foreign Press Association hun volledige lijst met genomineerden vrijgegeven voor de Golden Globe Awards 2018, die op zondag 7 januari plaatsvinden. De host van de 75ste editie is de Amerikaanse acteur en presentator Seth Meyers. 

Stranger Things

Netflix staat met maar liefst drie producties op het lijstje: zowel Stranger Things, The Sinner en The Crown zijn genomineerd. In de categorie beste film zijn Dunkirk, Call me By Your Name, The Post en Three Billboard Outside Ebbing, Missouri de kanshebbers dit jaar. 

Kritiek

Maar toch is niet iedereen blij met de nominaties van 2018. Filmliefhebbers spreken zich op Twitter uit over het feit dat alleen mannen genomineerd zijn voor beste regisseur. De organisatie negeert hiermee regisseur Greta Gerwig voor haar veelgeprezen film Lady Bird en Patty Jenkins voor de film Wonder Woman.
