Dit zijn de winnaars van de Grammy Awards 2022

Vannacht was het zover: de 64e editie van de jaarlijkse Grammy's-ceremonie. Tijdens deze prestigieuze avond, die voor deze ene keer in Las Vegas plaatsvond, werd de crème de la crème van de muziekwereld in het zonnetje gezet. We hebben er even op moeten wachten aangezien de ceremonie origineel gepland was voor 31 januari, maar eindelijk was het dan zover. Dít zijn de artiesten, albums, en crewleden die zo'n felbegeerde award in de wacht hebben gesleept.

64e Ceremonie

Dit jaar was het dus de 64e keer dat de Grammy's werden uitgereikt. Tijdens de prijsuitreiking vonden er geen grote schandalen plaats à la Will Smith's klap bij de Oscars, maar er waren genoeg memorabele momenten. Zo sprak de Oekraïense president Volodimir Zelensky de zaal toe middels een videoboodschap.

Ook viel rockband Foo Fighters tot drie keer toe in de prijzen – een bitterzoete avond na het recente overlijden van hun drummer Taylor Hawkins. Prijzen voor Nederlandse artiesten bleven echter uit. DJ's Afrojack en Tiësto, die beiden genomineerd waren in de categorie Best dance/electronic recording, zagen de Grammy naar Rüfüs du Sol gaan.
